Glass Type: Fused Quartz / Silica
Description
Vycor® is manufactured by Corning. It's a material that is comparable to and sometimes used in place of either fused silica or fused quartz. It has good resistance to heat and thermal shock. Vycor® also has good transmission in the UV range. SGP can CNC mill, drill, cut, lap, and polish this material in many shapes, sizes, and surface finishes.
